According to on-chain, 22 million Shiba Inu tokens have been burned in the last 24 hours. This plus the previous ones make nearly a billion tokens that have been burned in the last 9 days.
The Twitter account by the handle of @Shibburn revealed that a tremendous amount of nearly 1 billion SHIB has been transmitted to "inferno" addresses in the last 9 days.
Meanwhile, the same website that collects data from Etherscan has tweeted that various teams within the SHIB community had torched around 22 million SHIB coins in the last 20 hours.
In addition, @Shibburn from the Etherscan tracker said that about 22 million Shiba Inu tokens have been delivered to dead wallets in the last 24 hours.
The burners completed 11 transactions, removing a total of 18,859,775 SHIB from the circulating supply. Later, in 3 separate transfers, another 3 million tokens were transported.
Earlier this week, the same data provider tweeted that 917,202,013 SHIB were destroyed by being locked in the aforementioned dead wallets during the week preceding February 20.
