240 Million Shiba Inu burned on Christmas, making 880.9 Million burned since Mid-Fall

Bigger Entertainment finally revealed the amount of SHIB removed from circulation at the recent "burn party." This burn added on top of the previous ones make it just less than a billion SHIB burned since October 2021.

The Bigger Entertainment team announced the news at the burn party that was live on their YouTube channel on December 26. The company said they burned an amount of 239,600,144 SHIB tokens worth $9,183, which were sent to a null address and permanently taken out of circulation.

The company started burning Shiba Inu memecoin in October of this year, according to its founder, Steven Cooper.

For instance, Bigger Entertainment sells NFTs, merch, and tickets to events for digital assets, contributing with the SHIB Army to destroy Shiba Inu tokens.

Not to mention that Cooper expected to burn a billion coins. Also, he encouraged the SHIB community to support that initiative by pitching in $5 each. However, only about one-fifth of that was incinerated.

Overall, Cooper has burned 880,983,100 SHIB tokens worth $33,741.60 since October.

According to etherscan, various entities have sent a total of 370.4 million Shiba Inu coins in the past day.
