Tom Brady had some nice things to say about Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who was recently targeted by online bullies.

According to a recent tweet from Tom Brady, he wants to meet Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.

Buterin's contribution to the cryptocurrency sector was recognized by the superstar footballer, who recently startled the world with his unexpected unretirement.

Autograph, his non-fungible token (NFT) firm, would not have been conceivable without the Ethereum co-founder, he says.

Brady's words of admiration came in response to a tweet from Buterin, in which he shared screenshots of several rude messages criticizing his appearance.

The inclusion of the Ethereum co-founder on the cover of the historic issue of Time Magazine irritated several commentators.

Buterin and Brady were compared in a hilarious way by some Twitter users. That "dystopian" depiction of the popular footballer was spotted by one user. Another joked that Buterin resembled Brady if he had taken meth.

Despite the legendary quarterback's tremendous popularity, Buterin half-jokingly stated that he had no idea who Brady was. He looked to have mistook the footballer for Tom Cruise, the star of "Mission Impossible."

Brady's tweet went viral almost immediately, with nearly 60,000 likes as of this writing. Buterin expressed his gratitude to the footballer for his "warm assistance."

However, not everyone was happy. Brady was chastised on Twitter for peddling "glorified Chuck E Cheese tokens," according to several Twitter users.

Others said that cryptocurrency is just a way for affluent people like Tom Brady to get even wealthier, which Buterin addressed in a recent interview with the New York Times.
