Belgian Startup, Seety, Launches Bitcoin Payment For Parking

Since the beginning of 2021, the adoption of crypto as a payment method is increasing at a fast pace. Recently, a digital parking startup, Seety, announced it launched Bitcoin Payment for parking in Belgium.

According to DataNews, Seety launched the crypto payment in Antwerp and Brussels. What is more, the feature includes cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and stablecoins such as DAI and USD coin.

As per reports, the Belgian startup expects cryptos to become more environmentally friendly in due course. As a result of this, they will be used for everyday goods and services.

In addition, for users to pay for a parking space, they can buy Seety credits on the app. More so, the firm noted that the transaction costs are the same as for the payment by credit card.

What is more, Seety features a map on its app that allows users to locate the cheapest or free parking spots. Aside from this, they can determine the prices and parking regulations for any street or parking lot in town.

With Seety, users can find the cheapest parking zones. Thus, they can avoid parking fines and pay for their parking. Recently, the firm also introduced its app in more than a hundred Dutch cities and districts.
