According to Bloomberg, the estimated net worth of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stands at around $96 billion, which officially makes him the richest person in crypto.
This makes him now worth more than Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, whose net worth currently stands at $92.9 billion, as per the Bloomberg Billionaire Index. CZ is also close to Warren Buffett and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
In addition, CZ wealth could be even bigger since not many details are known about his cryptocurrency holdings.
The cryptocurrency tycoon, who used to work at McDonald's as a teenager, has so far shied away from commenting on the size of his fortune, but he plans to give away his entire wealth.
Moreover, the Wall Street Journal claimed that CZ cryptos could be worth up to $300 billion if it were to be revealed publicly.
In 2021, Binance exchange’s revenue reportedly reached $20 billion, but the numbers that are expected to be revealed U.S.-based rival Coinbase.
