Binance, the world’s leading crypto exchange by trading volume has been cleared by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide its services in the United Kingdom again.
FCA updated its consumer warning on Binance Markets Limited and the Binance Group. The UK regulator declared that Binance has complied with all the regulatory aspects and requirements.
The news comes 2 months after FCA went on Binance, restricting the Binance Markets Limited and Binance Group on June 25. Today August 25, the UK’s FCA has published an update indicating that it has cleared the popular exchange. FCA said,
"The firm complied with all aspects of the requirements."
In addition, Changpeng Zhao, Binance’s CEO known as CZ, expressed his happiness on Twitter to his over 3 million followers. He stated, “positive progress. One small step at a time.”
While CZ being positive, the crypto community remains confused about his tweet. Some said that the CEO is the only one that could justify what he posted.
Last month, the CEO of Binance announced that he wants the largest crypto exchange to work with local regulators as it establishes regional headquarters.
