During the recent AMA, the Founder of Cardano noted he was “genuinely curious” to know more about Solana, a decentralized computing platform that uses SOL to pay for transactions. In addition, Hoskinson congratulated the team for “making waves.”

According to the IOHK CEO, Solana’s team contacted him and shared some links about the project. To clarify, he said,

“I notice Solana’s been getting a lot of adoption and it’s been getting a lot of buzz and talk, and it’s certainly performing well in the markets. Whenever that occurs I always take a step back and say, “ah, okay, who are these guys?” And I am genuinely curious.”

Hoskinson's statement made the Cardano community curious about a potential collaboration between the 2 giants. But he said that the decision is up to the community, which is at the center of every decision-making. Thus, Cardano could collaborate with Solana if the community says yes.

To continue, he stressed that if there was such a thing, it would be seen in an area of economic collaboration, an area of a technical collab, or an area of scientific collaboration.

At the time of writing, Cardano (ADA) hit a new all-time high of above $3, according to CoinMarketCap.
