Coca-Cola launches Pride NFT collection on the Polygon network

Coca-Cola, a well-known beverage company, said that it will introduce a Pride series NFT collection as part of its intentions to celebrate with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Since each NFT in the collection is made up of a different piece from one of the 136 NFT collections, they are all one of a kind.

With the debut of this series, it hopes to disseminate the message of love by giving the LGBTQIA+ community members beautiful light.

Rich Mnisi, a well-known South African musician and one of the community's most outspoken defenders, will collaborate with Coca-Cola on this launch. Why did Coca-Cola select Mnisi? It's believed that Mnisi's pieces stretch the boundaries of identification and community.

The team continues, citing Mnisi's inspiration for his pride collection as the energy's indestructibility.

Energy can alter or transfer forms, according to Mnisi. It can be locked up or unlocked by anyone. Love is like energy in that it can change forms but never go away. Heartache, trust, passion, and darkness can all be new forms of love.

These expressions show how love evolves and endures. They serve as a reminder that each person has the ability to choose the type of love they want to express.

Mnisi continues, "We show love in any sense we understand it. But let's all freely love one another.

The statement states that 136 NFTs will be released as part of the pride series NFT collection. They will all be produced on the Polygon (MATIC) network as well.

Some of these NFTs are already available on the OpenSea NFT marketplace. The floor price for these NFTs has been set by Coca-Cola at 1 ETH.

Coca-Cola also expects that the introduction of the NFT series would increase the visibility of the LGBTQIA+ colors. Consequently, the world's understanding of its message of love will grow.

Coca-Cola also declared that it will give the local charities all of the proceeds from the initial sale of the NFTs. In the first year after the NFT series debuts, all sales earnings will go to the LGBTQIA+ charity OUT.

Rich Mnisi hand-picked this nonprofit organization. OUT is a South African organization that offers both physical and mental treatment. Out is among the nonprofits that support the LGBTQIA+ community in addition to being the second-oldest charity in South Africa.
