Tesla CEO Elon Musk just can't stop ridiculing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as the backlash against the digital collectible craze keeps growing.
On December 26, DOOM has caught the attention of Musk with its new NFT mode that lets users take a photograph of NFTs for money.
According to Twitter pseudonym Niche Gamer, the mode substitutes all enemies in the game with images of NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs.
So, instead of shooting the Apes, users take photographs to kill them and earn some money. This concept comes from a joke among called “right-clickers” who discuss that crypto art is worthless because anyone can download it for free.
Earlier this month, the billionaire published a meme showing a psychiatrist asking his client if he’s hallucinating or speculating NFTs. Aside from this, Musk also joked about NFTs, saying “jpeging the dollar.”
Note that in November, an Australian man published all images linked with NFTs on Ethereum and Solana networks for free.
