According to a post, Melania Trump expresses her interests and plans to release NFTs built on the Solana (SOL) blockchain at standard gaps through her website.

She says,

“I am proud to announce my new NFT endeavor, which embodies my passion for the arts, and will support my ongoing commitment to children through my Be Best initiative."

In addition, her first NFT is dubbed “Melania’s Vision,” which is available for purchase until December 31. Based on the report, one NFT will cost roughly 1 Solana (SOL) worth around $173 at writing time. What's more, the digital collectible includes an audio recording from the former US First Lady.

Furthermore, she notes that they will host an auction in January with digital artwork, physical artwork, and “a physical one-of-a-kind accessory” on Trump’s NFT platform.

As per the announcement, a percentage of the platform’s profits will be allocated to assist children aging out of the foster care system by providing help in computer science and technology.

Trump clarifies,

"Through this new technology-based platform, we will provide children computer science skills, including programming and software development, to thrive after they age out of the foster community.”

Following this, a representative from Solana Labs said that the former First Lady's choice to use Solana technology is "completely organic" as it is not the company's initiative.
