Musk Dislikes Twitter's NFTs Picture Feature

Twitter NFT has been dubbed "annoying" by Elon Musk. By integrating Non-fungible tokens with the NFT profile picture, the social media network has taken a significant step forward. Individuals can use their NFTs as profile photographs by connecting their wallets.

This, however, does not appear to have moved the world's wealthiest man.

Musk is dissatisfied with Twitter

Tesla CEO Elon Musk described the announcement as "annoying" in a tweet that included a picture of it. "Twitter is wasting engineering resources on this nonsense while crypto scammers throw a spambot block party on every post!" he continued.

Musk's mention of cryptocurrency scammers refers to the thousands of tweets attempting to defraud people of their cryptocurrency assets. Unfortunately, Twitter has become one of the most popular sites for impersonating celebrities by scammers.

In May 2021, the Federal Trade Commission stated that Elon Musk impersonators had stolen more than $2 million in crypto assets from consumers using fraudulent tactics on sites such as Twitter. As a result, it's not surprising that Elon Musk regards dealing with this threat as more important than dealing with NFT.

The billionaire, who is a huge crypto supporter, clearly isn't a fan of NFT. He called it "BS" in a tweet. Several people felt that Twitter needed to address the issue of spambots and scams.
