The French football club giant, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) signed a sponsorship deal with Crypto.com.
As per the firm, the collaboration will also include private non-fungible token (NFT) releases on the company's official NFT marketplace.
In addition, reports also say that Crypto.com decided to pay a part of the sponsorship fee using its native cryptocurrency token, CRO.
Both businesses officials expressed their excitement to work together. Further, Marc Armstrong, PSG’s Chief Partnerships Officer, stated,
“We are delighted to welcome Crypto.com to the Paris Saint-Germain partner family. We share the same passion for innovation and the same ambition to reach the very top."
In addition, he noted, "With this partnership, Paris Saint-Germain demonstrates once more its vision and leadership as a pioneer in areas such as lifestyle, esports and digital. It is an exciting time for Cryptocurrency and we cannot wait to work with Crypto.com to bring new experiences to all of the club’s fans."
Speaking of sponsorship, Kris Marszalek, CEO, and co-founder of Crypto.com noted that their mission since day one has been to accelerate the world’s transition to crypto.
What is more, they want to do so by finding the best partners in the world. "And Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is second to none," Marszalek added.
