Shiba Inu Games, a different entity within the "Dogecoin Killer" network, announced a partnership with PlaySide Studios — Australia’s largest video game developer.

According to reports, the partnership aims to develop a new game based on the “Shiboshi” non-fungible token (NFT) collection over the next 8 months.

Following this collaboration, PlaySide CEO Gerry Sakkas expresses his thoughts. He says that the partnership brings a chance to explore more crypto and NFTs space. Sakkas notes,

"Emerging technologies continue to gather pace, and this is an ideal opportunity for PlaySide to collaborate in this field, expand our skill base and showcase our development abilities."

Based on reports, the game will be rolled out around the beginning of 2023.

In November, William Volk, Activision’s former vice president of technology, became Shiba Inu Games consultant. He joined the memecoin to work on what he claims to be “one of the most significant” gaming projects of all time.

Note that the Shiboshi game will be certified for a decentralized team of developers working on a yet-to-be-launched Ethereum layer-2 solution called Shibarium.
