Shiba Inu surged by over 200% after Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted another picture of his puppy Floki Frunkpuppy late Sunday. Since then, the hashtag #SHIB started trending on Twitter as retail traders supported the price rise.

More so, the hashtag #SHIB coin has featured everywhere in the top 10 most popular tweets on Twitter over the last 48 hours. Also, the growing amount of searches drove the memecoin price to the moon, hitting a new all-time high since mid-May.

All these attracted investors, traders, and also curious crypto enthusiasts to follow the token social media platform. To announce the 1 million followers, the Shiba Inu team said,

"Thank you, ShibArmy, for helping us reach yet another milestone in our history. Today, we reached 1,000,000 Followers on Twitter."

Note that last month, Coinbase added support to SHIB. Thus, the Shiba Inu token is now available to clients through the company’s mobile applications.
