A Twitter account dedicated to Shiba Inu (SHIB) has announced a possible SHIB double burn over the next 2 months.
Steven Cooper, the owner of the first crypto record label, Bigger Entertainment — who accepts SHIB for merch, music, tickets to events, and NFTs and then burns these coins, has announced on his Twitter that over the next 60 days, his team expects to double their SHIB burn rate.
Moreover, when SHIB gets burned, the tokens are immediately taken out of circulation and the upcoming one is set to take place on December 26. In addition, Cooper mentioned that his team aims to burn more SHIB, stressing that they are “just getting started”.
Earlier this week, Steven Cooper also tweeted that his team would burn 1 billion SHIB on December 13, if 7,500 Shiba Inu holders spent $5 at Bigger Entertainment to purchase a ticket to the “burn party”. More so, the raised amount of funds was 13% of the total sum.
Adding to this, Cooper also said that so far, his team had burned 7 million SHIB. According to etherscan, over 7 billion SHIB were burned and sent to a permanently inactive address: 0xdead000000000000000042069420694206942069.
Today, over 2 million SHIB tokens were sent to the same address.
