Snoop Dogg Enters the Metaverse With Virtual Blockchain World Sandbox Game

After American rapper, Snoop Dogg has announced he has partnered with the virtual gaming world Sandbox Game. The partnership with Sandbox Game will allow Snoop Dogg to recreate his mansion and launch his new NFT collection.

Snoop Dogg announced he has entered the metaverse with the Ethereum-based metaverse Sandbox on September 23. Basically, Sandbox is a gaming platform where people can build, share and monetize non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and gaming experiences on Ethereum (ETH).

According to the news, Snoop will recreate his mansion in the Sandbox metaverse. With this, players could experience Snoop parties and concerts. Also, they could play the character of Snoop Dogg himself.

Also, the news states that the Doggfather is launching a limited NFT collection of ‘Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass.’

In addition, Arthur Madrid, the CEO, and co-founder of the Sandbox virtual game said that they are building the future of entertainment. In this ecosystem, everyone could create and share their very own virtual experiences.

Adding that “The Sandbox is bringing iconic culture with Snoop Dogg and enhancing it through innovation with NFTs and virtual experiences. Snoop’s LAND is decentralized; 100% owned by him to develop through his creative genius.”

As per Sandbox, it intends to start land sale on September 30, 2021. During the sale, participants could get land adjacent to the Snoop mansion. What is more, Snoop said he can't wait for his new virtual palace. Snoop Dogg noted,

“I’m always on the look-out for new ways of connecting with fans and what we’ve created in The Sandbox is the future of virtual hangouts, NFT drops and exclusive concerts,” said Snoop Dogg. “We’ll have a fresh set of Dogg style NFTs that players can integrate into the game experiences to take this online experience to the next level for sure.”
