The creator of the 'What’s Inside YouTube Channel' announced that he has traded his Tesla Roadster for a non-fungible token (NFT).

The 41-year-old YouTuber posted a video on his 'What’s Inside Family Channel,' on September 15, 2021. In the video, Markham exchanged a blue Tesla Roadster worth a quarter-million dollars for an NFT of a “positive porcupine.”

Furthermore, the NFT was a creation of the Vee Friends design owned by Eli Burton, the artist behind The Adventures of Starman.

In the video, YouTuber Dan Markham says,

“Looking back on this in one year, two years, three years from now it could be a monumentally dumb decision but it also could be a great decision. I think these cars have a lot of value for a long time and I do believe in NFTs. It's a picture for a car — clearly, he's getting the better end of this deal.”

What is more, Burton noted that he had planned to sell the digital art for over $100,000 before receiving the YouTuber's offer. In addition, Eli Burtont noted that trading the NFT for the car was very simple.

On the other hand, Markham adds,

“There is almost no difference as far as the money viewpoint goes by having it – whether it's in a collectible car or a collectible NFT — it's still collectible.”

The trade was carried out in the real world. Markham handed Burton the papers and key of the car.
