Wiz Khalifa is dropping his NFT collection in collaboration with Antoni Tudisco on October 15, 2021.
Wiz Khalifa joins celebrities like Step Curry, Shaq, Lionel Messi, Lil Nas, his weed partner Snoop Dogg, and many others in the non-fungible token (NFT) space. The artist is now expanding his prolific creative output, joining the NFT craze by teaming up with renowned 3D artist Antoni Tudisco for a limited-edition NFT drop.
According to reports, the collection is sustainably minted on the Palm network will drop via Portion. Moreover, the limited-edition has 10 editions of 10 individual pieces, which means 100 pieces in total priced at $2,500 each.
In addition, each piece starts with Wiz Khalifa selecting musical and stylistic elements from his work. And yes, no surprise, weed is a central theme, which Tudisco fitted with his signature lush 3D surreal hyperpop style.
Wiz expressed himself about joining the NFT family. He said,
"Creating my first NFT has been so exciting and collaborating with Antoni on it has been a great experience."
Meanwhile, Tudisco said that he is a big fan of Wiz. When he got the email to have the opportunity to collaborate with him on a collection, "it was a no brainer." Adding to this, he said he has been a supporter since Kush & Orange Juice."
On top of that, Tudisco noted that he was super open on the creative direction and loved everything he prepared and visualized. "It was super fun and chill working with him," he says.
